Hi! I’m Amy Brar.

I am so excited to be embarking on this journey of starting theballetcollective. My love for teaching adults has grown into a passion over the years, and I am thrilled to have this opportunity to grow this community of dancers.

I have over 40 years of dance experience-15 of those teaching around the city, primarily at Maritime Dance Academy. I’m a graduate of the Teacher Training Program from the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts and I am an Associate Teacher with the Society of Classical Ballet- Vaganova method. My teaching style has been shaped by a genuine love of guiding and watching adults grow as dancers.  

I am so excited about the community we’ve built and can’t wait to welcome you here!
